Justice and Custody Transitions

Leaving custody is one of the hardest changes you’ll ever make. New house, new people, new rules, and often not much warning.

Around nine in ten people we support have been where you are, so we understand. We work with corrective services, your support coordinator and health workers, so you have a home and people who know you from day one.

How we can help you

What you can expect from us

Too often, people judge you by your file before they’ve even met you. We do it the other way around. We know this kind of change can be messy, so we plan for the hard days, and we don’t walk away when things get tough.

Is this right for you?

If you’re an NDIS participant getting ready for release, or you’ve recently been released, we’re here for you. Your support coordinator, case manager or corrective services officer can also contact us for you.

Getting ready for release? Let’s talk about what you need.

Your questions, answered

How early should I get in touch?
As early as you can. A few months before release gives us time to plan properly, but we can also help at short notice.
Yes. We work alongside Community Corrections and respect the conditions you’re on.
That’s okay. We’ll work with your support coordinator on funding while we plan.
