Community Participation in NSW
A good life happens outside the house too. Footy on the weekend, a coffee with a mate, a class or a local club.
We’ll help you get out there, build your confidence and connect with people, anywhere in NSW. You set the goals. We’ll back you to reach them.
How we can help you
- Getting to appointments, activities and social events
- Building everyday skills, like shopping, cooking and budgeting
- Learning to use public transport with confidence
- Finding local groups, classes and activities you’ll enjoy
- Reconnecting with family, friends and your community
What you can expect from us
Maybe you want to try something new every week. Maybe you’d rather start with a short walk to the shops. Both are completely fine. We’ll match you with a support worker who gets you, and we’ll go at your pace, especially if you’ve been away from your community for a while.

If you have NDIS funding for community participation and want to get out and do more, this is for you. You don’t need to live in one of our homes.

What funding covers community participation?
Usually Assistance with Social, Economic and Community Participation (Core), or Increased Social and Community Participation (Capacity Building).
Can I choose my support worker?
Yes. If the fit doesn’t feel right, just tell us and we’ll change it.
Where do you support people?
We support people right across NSW.
